Here, you will work with experienced Project Managers and be a part of the administration of all job-related accounting functions and all matters relating to the project(s)’ accounting and financial activities. The Project Accountant is responsible for compiling, analyzing, monitoring and accurately presenting financial data for the projects they have been assigned. Responsibilities include maintaining good relations and communications with the field and corporate personnel and other involved parties. Position requires working with tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities. As a critical part of Team Craft, the Project Accountant is responsible for financial reporting and innovation in bringing to the attention of the Project Manager and the Chief Financial Officer any cost which may affect the financial outcome of the job.


  • A bachelor’s degree in business with detailed knowledge of accounting principles or 10 years working in an accounting department
  • At least five years of experience in project accounting and job cost accounting with a general contractor
  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
