Project Details
30,000 s.f. Office Building with three level parking structure. Developed as the headquarters for a prominent international communications company based in Miami, Florida, the project is located at a historic intersection along famed Coral Way. Inspired by the Banyan trees lining the boulevard the building incorporates organic structural components while responding to the local climate and design culture. At ground level, an arcade of randomly arranged columns support a concrete overhang is representative of the root system of the adjacent Banyan trees while recalling the mid-century modernism found along the busy corridor. Designed to meet the highest sustainable building standards, the project incorporates both passive and active control systems to provide an efficient and highly enjoyable working environment.
